Quite a few things have been happening for the sitting room renovation:

• I have sent the rugs to be cleaned, so I have no rugs on the floor!
• I have sent the sofa and chair to be restored and re-upholstered (photos below as a reminder). 

For the sofa I've chosen a gorgeous aubergine velvet from J Brown, and for the chair we will use a random piece of tapestry. 

Both pieces should be finished and back to me in a week so watch this space!!
