Decorex 2014 inspires beauty, style, art and design
Decorex is a uniquely British experience and is internationally renowned for being the paramount event to discover the very best in luxury design. It has been running for 37 years and it is a platform for launching some of the best of the interior design world. I went to Decorex last year for the first time and it was held in the grounds of Kensington Palace. This year it is held in the grounds of Syon Park.
Syon is one of the last great houses of London and has been in the family of the present owners for more than 400 years. This beautiful Georgian house holds a wealth of art within its grand classical interiors, while the Park and Gardens feel like deep countryside, although they are only 9 miles from the centre of London.
I love the whole atmosphere of Decorex, wandering up and down the rows of exhibitors, soaking up the beauty, style, art and design. In particular I love the way some of the stands use flowers to enhance their products.
