I'm Angela, daughter of a florist and an athlete, sometime national competitive swimmer, cellist and ex-data analyst. I’m a Kiwi by birth, but I lived in Italy before settling on the edge of leafy Tooting Common, London. I'm a fan of beauty in all its forms, kind people, oysters and champagne.
My first interior design gig was at 14, when I glued sheepskin scraps to my bedroom carpet making a luxurious flooring that survived in the house until it was sold.
Since then I've mentally repainted and restyled every room I've walked into.
When the corporate world set me free a few years ago, I set up Angela Bunt Creative to finally start doing what I do best — helping people transform their homes with colour.
I call myself an interior designer but what I really do is inspire people to understand what makes them tick and to reflect it in their surroundings. I can:
Coordinate a design scheme that lets you feel truly special in your own home
Source unique accessories, furniture and fittings to suit your style
Manage design, renovation and restyling projects to completion
Create a confident working relationship for success.
I sometimes say I was put on Earth to decorate it not fix it. If fixing's what you're into, a beautiful home is the perfect place to start.
I write regularly about interiors, food and floral styling for my Flair Fairy blog. I've also written for Real Homes magazine. I'd love to contribute to your interiors publication or website or speak on colour choice in the home at your event. I offer personal home colour consultations, colour and flower styling workshops, as well as full interior decorating and home styling services by the hour.
